What is the Puffco Peak?

The Puffco Peak is a portable electronic vaporizer designed for cannabis concentrate users who want to skip the time-consuming steps of dabbing like lighting a blowtorch and waiting for your nail to start glowing red, The power and temperature settings are controlled by a single button on the device's base, which makes dabbing fairly easy.

The Puffco Peak uses ground breaking technology to automatically change the heat and timing to deliver the optimum hit. After you press the button, a LED light band informs you of the heat cycles and battery level.

There are two ways to consume concentrates with the Puffco Peak. For a traditional dabbing experience, you can preheat the vaporizer until it reaches the right temperature before adding a glob of concentrates from your dabber. If you prefer cold starts, you can preheat the device with your concentrate already loaded into the chamber. 

The small box has a lot of pieces, but the important ones are the base, glass attachment, atomizer, ceramic bowl, atomizer cover, and carb cap. A loading tool, cleaning swabs, carrying case, tether, an extra ceramic bowl, and a carb cap are all included.

The borosilicate glass connection is filled with water to filter the concentrate's byproduct, giving them a pure hit to inhale. When heated and prepared for use, it alerts you with vibration and LED light. 

The Puffco Peak also has a special feature that makes dabbing more social. Users can take repeated hits or pass the device around to pals in Sesh Mode, which raises the temperature and extends functioning by 15 seconds.

How do you use the Puffco Peak?

If you’ve decided to take your cannabis consumption into the modern age with the Puffco Peak, it might feel intimidating. However the device is designed to simplify the dabbing experience while providing efficient smooth hits.

Prelim: Instead of using a blowtorch, the first steps to using the Puffco Peak are more similar to plugging in your laptop than taking a traditional dab.

1. Make sure your device is fully charged before use.
2. The white LED light on the Puffco's base will stop pulsating once the charging is completed.
3. The battery takes two full hours to charge and lasts long enough to take 30 hits.

Set up:

1. Take your glass attachment and fill the chamber up with water until the water level rises slightly above the percolator holes.
2. Keep the lower section of your glass attachment dry as it is the part that will be inserted into your electronic base.
3. When inserting the glass piece into the base, ensure that the entry hole on the front of the glass top is aligned with the atomizer on the electronic base.
4. Lock the glass top into place by pressing down on the device’s button for three seconds.

Load:

1. Once your Puffco is set up, it is time to load your dab.
2. There are four different temperature settings on your Puffco that can be toggled by clicking the button on the base of the device.

• Blue (450 degrees Fahrenheit or 232 degrees Celsius)
• Green (500 degrees Fahrenheit or 260 degrees Celsius)
• Red (550 degrees Fahrenheit or 288 degrees Celsius)
• White (600 degrees Fahrenheit or 316 degrees Celsius)
• The larger the dab you plan to take, the hotter you will want your Puffco Peak to vaporize.

Dab: Typically when you are dabbing you will have to use a bubble cap and terp pearls to ensure that every bit of wax gets vaporized. When you are using the Puffco Peak, the steps are simplified.

1. Size out your dab. The Puffco Peak comes with a dabber. Use it to pick up your dab.
2. Place it into the Puffco’s heatable chamber. You can do this before while it is cold or after the vaporizer has been preheated.
3. Place your carb cap on top of the chamber. The Puffco comes with a carb cap that is sized for its device. Place it on top for an optimal dabbing experience.
4. Power off your Peak. Puffco recommends powering down the Peak after your session which can extend the battery life. This is done by holding down the single button.

Cold Start Option: Like mentioned, you can load your dab into the heating chamber first before preheating your Puffco Peak.

1. Load your dab into the heating chamber while it is still cool to the touch.
2. Place your carb cap on top and double click the button to begin the heating process.
3. Once your Puffco Peak begins to vibrate and the light begins to flash, your hit is ready! 
4. Take a hit from the top of the Peak and enjoy your dab!

Keeping your Puffco Peak Clean

• Quick clean: The quickest way to clean your Puffco is to use a Q Tip to clean the heating chamber after your dab. This removes excess concentrate that have been melted. This allows for a better tasting next dab and extends the life of your heating chamber. In addition we recommend changing the water on your Puffco Peak top daily.
  
  
• Deep clean: Cleaning your Puffco Peak is similar to cleaning any other glass bong. It is needed to restore your pipe back to new and provide a great smoking experience. Since your Puffco Peak glass top is constructed differently than a glass bong, we want to provide specific instructions on how to clean it. 

1. Get a ziplock bag or similar container and gently place your piece inside. Fill the container with 91% or stronger isopropyl alcohol. You want to fill enough to cover your glass attachment so it can stay submerged for at least one hour. To speed up the process you can shake the piece gently (be very careful).
2. Really clean the concentrates out of your heating chamber. You can heat up the device to melt the remaining concentrates making them easier to clean out with your cotton swab.
3. Unscrew your atomizer and soak it in isopropyl alcohol, letting it soak for at least four hours. Make sure to rinse the atomizer and dry completely before putting it back onto your Puffco Peak. Do not use a cotton swab to clean your atomizer.
4. Clean the base of your Peak with a cotton swab that has been dipped in isopropyl alcohol. This will allow you to reach and remove the left over residue from hard to reach areas such as the air path and atomizer well. 
5. Use a cotton swab to clean the gold connection pins on the base and atomizer.
6. Remember to be gentle with your Puffco Peak and to let everything dry fully before reassembling. 

Is the Puffco Peak worth it?

Both new and seasoned concentrate consumers can benefit from having a Puffco Peak in their collection.
